Words from the people who know us best
Every family’s experience is different, but they all share one thing in common: they want the very best for someone they love. Read what residents and families have to say about life at Pexton Grange.
“I had a fall and spent time at Pexton Grange to recover after I left hospital I stayed there three weeks and was well looked after the rooms were lovely and all the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The facilities were excellent and the meals were nice, the activities were good and it helps to get you out of your room. I would highly recommend this home for their excellent care – thank you to all the staff.”

Respite Resident
“My husband was admitted to Pexton Grange in January after a spell in hospital. After his hospitalization I was no longer able to nurse him. He has Alzheimer’s and can no longer walk. Having looked after him for 7 years, I had misgivings. However, my family and I found that the care he got, put our minds at rest. We have found that all the staff are welcoming and caring.
We have been impressed with how staff have listened to suggestions we have made and have put things in place to calm him and he now regards the staff and other residents as friends. Although he is often confused he tells me he is happy. This is a real comfort to us. I can not thank the staff enough for their ready smiles, patience and obvious skills.
Meals should be 6 stars.”

“I was a NHS patient at this home during December 2023. I still remember the kindness and dedication given to me by Freda, the occupational therapist. Ian, the nursing manager and Bini, one of the care workers.
Fond memories!”
