OUR STORY
Why Westcott Care began
Every Westcott home shares the same belief: great care starts with truly understanding the person.
That belief comes from our founder, Andrew Whelan, whose own family’s experience of navigating the care system highlighted how overwhelming it can feel to find the right support. He set out to create homes where people would always come before processes, where families would feel listened to and where every individual would be supported to live life in the way that feels right for them.
Today, that philosophy continues to shape every Westcott home, creating welcoming environments where relationships matter, independence is encouraged and everyone is treated as the individual they are. Families don’t need another care provider. They need someone who understands what they’re going through.
